Welcoming a newborn into the world is always a beautiful moment, but when baby is born into a family rooted generations of farming, the story becomes even sweeter.

Recently I had the joy of photographing this sweet newborn girl whose family own and runs a multigenerational local farm here in Port Murray NJ.  Though the session took place at my cozy studio, we brought touches of their farm life into the portraits. We styled the session with warm, earthy tones and rustic textures to reflect the spirit of the farm. A soft wooden bed, cozy layers, and outfits that help create the look that felt timeless and natural. This little one slept so peacefully, wrapped in layers that mirrored the warmth of life surrounded by land, animals and love.

Her parents beamed with pride as we captured these early moments. Their connection, not just to their daughter but to their family’s legacy was truly moving. They spoke of mornings at the farm, the values they hope to pass down and the beautify of rising a child in a setting filled with purpose and tradition.

This Session was a reminder that every family has a story worth telling. Even in a studio setting, with the right care and intention we can weave that story into every image.
